Driving Progress Through People & Culture

Chalouhi is committed to building our company culture to create opportunities for professional growth and development. We aim to create a diverse and inclusive culture that supports and encourages our people. Further to this, we invest in a range of community outreach initiatives and charity programs within the communities we operate in.

Chalouhi approaches people and community through all facets of our business, from employment to training and community initiatives.

Women in construction

Supporting women in construction is part of Chalouhi’s efforts to build a culture that offers our clients fresh perspectives and original solutions.

Our goals for the future are to expand our female workforce in line with the CCF NSW initiative, which aims to achieve 50% female participation in the industry by 2050. We are dedicated to representing women in leadership positions, which is why Chalouhi has set itself a target of having 50% of our executive roles filled by women by 2030.

Empowering diversity

At Chalouhi, diversity is at the core of our values and practices. We proudly employ a diverse workforce that includes 24 remarkable women and our team is a vibrant blend of over 20 nationalities, reflecting our commitment to inclusion and the broad range of perspectives that drive our innovation and excellence.

Indigenous involvement

The cornerstone of Chalouhi’s Indigenous reconciliation approach is to engage meaningfully with First Nation Australians. Our Reconciliation Action Plan focuses on generating career pathways and upskilling opportunities for First Nation individuals, enabling them to thrive within our organisation and beyond.

The Property Industry Foundation (PIF)The Property Industry Foundation (PIF)

PIF brings together the property and construction industry in a unique collaboration to have a tangible impact on Youth Homelessness. The Foundation builds homes for homeless youth and provides ongoing support for homes where young people can rebuild their lives. We are an annual gold sponsor of The Special Children’s Christmas Parties for special needs children and their families. The charity works closely with hundreds of other charities, schools, community groups and government organisations throughout the country to select these special children.

The children invited suffer from one of the following conditions: serious illness, physical or intellectual impairment, are victims of domestic violence, or live in underprivileged circumstances. The goal is simple: to put smiles on their faces. Children are treated to celebrity stage shows, fun rides, interactive games, yummy food, face painting and many other fun activities. The highlight of the day is when the children enter Santa’s Toy Room and get to pick toys to take home. We end up smiling as much as the children do.
